Bike Accident Leaves Teacher Critically Injured

Agartala, 27th August,2026: Teacher and proprietor of Gyan Bikshan Prakashani, Pritam Bhattacharya, 44, was critically injured in a road accident in Udaipur on Wednesday evening(26/08/2026). Bhattacharya, a resident of the Jagannath Chaumuhani area, was returning home from the market on his scooter when a speeding motorcycle hit him from behind near Vivek Sangha. He was reportedly riding at a slow speed when the accident occurred. The motorcycle was carrying Yeshia Jamatia, 21, and a minor. Bhattacharya sustained serious injuries and was initially treated locally before being referred to the GB Pant Hospital in Agartala in critical condition.
