Agartala,August 18,2026: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired the State-level District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting at the State Secretariat to review the progress of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes being implemented in the State. During the meeting, the Chief Minister assessed the status of important development programmes and emphasised the need for their timely and effective implementation.
Dr. Saha directed the concerned departments and officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries at the grassroots level. He stressed better coordination among departments and urged officials to identify and resolve bottlenecks that may delay implementation.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of regular monitoring, transparency and accountability in the execution of development projects. He called upon officials to work with greater commitment to ensure that welfare and development schemes produce tangible benefits for the people of Tripura and contribute to the State’s overall socio-economic development.
