Foundation StoneLaid for 100-Bed Medical College in Ambassa
Ambassa, August 25: A major healthcare and investment initiativetook shape in Tripura’s Dhalai district with the laying of the foundation stonefor the 100-bed HP Ghosh Memorial Medical College at Lalchhari inAmbassa.
The project, beinginitiated in collaboration with the Bandhan Group, is expected tostrengthen medical infrastructure in the region and improve access to qualityhealthcare services. The proposed medical college is also likely to createemployment opportunities and support economic activity in and around Ambassa.
The institution isexpected to contribute to the development of medical education while addressingthe growing demand for healthcare facilities in the state. Its establishmentcould also benefit local businesses through increased demand for housing, transport,hospitality and other services.
The project marks animportant step toward expanding Tripura’s healthcare infrastructure andpromoting investment-led development in the state.
