Agartala, October 8,2026: A free eye check-up camp organised by Bagma Agri Producer Company Limited (BAPCL) in association with Netralok Eye Hospital was held at Dakshin Bagma, Udaipur, Gomati district, on Thursday. The day-long camp, conducted from 9 am to 3 pm, benefited hundreds of villagers, farmers, agricultural workers and local industry officials.
A team of doctors and optometrists conducted comprehensive eye examinations, including vision tests and cataract screening, to identify refractive errors and other eye-related problems. Beneficiaries received medical consultations, advice on medicines and guidance regarding further treatment and follow-up care.
BAPCL Managing Director Sudip Majumder thanked the medical team for their dedicated service and appreciated local volunteers, community leaders and villagers for their cooperation.
The initiative highlighted the importance of accessible preventive healthcare in rural areas and demonstrated how community organisations can work with specialised hospitals to bring essential medical services closer to rural communities.
