Giant Python Rescued from Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary

Agartala, September 18,2026: A giant python was rescued from the Rajnagar Jala Pathar area of Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary, creating excitement among local residents. According to local sources, resident Bikram Das had gone to his paddy field to apply fertilizer when he suddenly spotted the huge snake. The news quickly spread, causing panic and curiosity in the area. Acting promptly, a team of forest officials led by Rajnagar Forest Range Officer Sukanta Sarkar reached the spot. The forest personnel carefully rescued the python without causing any injury. The snake was later released safely at Bison National Park. Locals appreciated the Forest Department’s prompt and efficient action.
