Agartala, October 2, 2026: The Swachhata Rath Yatra was flagged off on 2 October from the District Headquarters of North Tripura by the District Magistrate and Collector as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The initiative aims to promote cleanliness and create awareness about the recent Supreme Court guidelines on four-way waste segregation. Over the next week, the Rath will travel across the district, spreading messages on source segregation, responsible waste management and cleanliness. On its first day, students at Panisagar welcomed the Rath enthusiastically. Citizens were urged to segregate waste at source and actively participate in maintaining clean and healthy neighbourhoods.
