Agartala, September 29,2029: Tension escalated in Udaipur on Monday amid reports of violence during the TTAADC Village Committee Election. Superintendent of Police Anirban Das, SDPO Debanjali Roy and a Sector Officer were reportedly injured in an attack. Following the incident, IG Law & Order Shri Ipper Manchak rushed to Udaipur to assess the situation and oversee security arrangements. Clashes and alleged attacks involving candidates, polling agents and security personnel were reported from several areas. Senior police officials reached the affected locations, while additional security forces were deployed to prevent further violence. The exact circumstances and identities of those responsible remain unconfirmed.
