Agartala, August 20, 2026 :The Tripura Cabinet has approved the creation of 305 new governmentposts and the recruitment of 1,177 personnel across various departments, in amove aimed at strengthening the state’s administrative and public servicesystem. The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief MinisterManik Saha.

The approval is expected to provide additional manpower to departments facing staffshortages and improve the delivery of government services to citizens. Therecruitment of 1,177 personnel will create new employment opportunities foreligible candidates across the state.

Thedecision comes as the Tripura government continues efforts to expandadministrative capacity and fill vacant positions in key departments. Officialssaid the new posts and recruitment will help improve efficiency and ensurebetter implementation of government schemes and programmes.
