Kailashahar, October 2,2026:Some conversations are about work. Some are about life. And some are simply about being human. With this spirit, the District Administration, Unakoti, has initiated “Unakoti Talks”—a platform that brings achievers, professionals and inspiring individuals together with students, citizens and members of the community to share their journeys, struggles, experiences and ideas.

The initiative is built around a simple thought: every successful journey has a story behind it. By listening to these stories, young people and citizens can learn from the challenges others have faced, the lessons they have gathered and the determination that helped them move forward.

Unakoti Talks is not only about achievement. It is also about conversations on life, public service, education, aspirations, challenges, social responsibility and how each of us can contribute towards building a better society.

The third episode brought together Ms. Megha Jain, District Magistrate, Unakoti, and Ms. Chandni Chandran, District Magistrate, North District, for a candid and refreshing conversation.

What made this episode particularly special was not just the topics discussed, but the moments in between—the laughter, lighter conversations, personal anecdotes and spontaneous exchanges that reminded everyone that behind the designations are people with stories, experiences and warmth.

The conversation moved effortlessly between the professional and the personal. From the responsibilities and challenges of public service to the realities of being a woman in the civil services, the two officers shared experiences and reflections from their journeys.

At the same time, the discussion was far from being a formal conversation about administration. The lighter moments and personal stories made it relatable, offering viewers a glimpse into the human side of two public servants.

For students and citizens, such conversations can serve as a source of inspiration—not simply because of the positions held by the speakers, but because of the journeys, struggles, choices and lessons behind those positions.

Through Unakoti Talks, the District Administration seeks to create a space where people can listen, learn, question, reflect and connect. It is a platform where experiences become lessons, conversations become sources of inspiration, and individual stories can encourage others to dream, persevere and contribute to society.

The program has become very popular with the young generation and it is gaining traction in the social media.
