Tripura Assembly Monsoon Session to Begin on August 27

Agartala,26th  August 2026: The monsoon session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly is set to begin on Thursday, August 27, with several important issues expected to come up for discussion, including teacher shortages, electricity bills and Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC)-related matters.

The session is likely to witness discussions on key issues concerning the state’s education sector. The shortage of teachers in government schools has remained a significant concern, with opposition parties and teacher aspirants repeatedly demanding action to fill vacant posts.
